Thomasville Firefighter's Random Acts of Kindness

The Thomasville Firefighter's Random Acts of Kindness was a vision of Chaplain Richard Waddell. Although in an infancy stage in development, The Random acts of Kindness has already completed several projects to assist the local community.

Firefighters rescue people and property from all types of accident and disaster. They also make an area safer by minimizing the risks, including the social and economic costs, caused by fire and other hazards. Only one in five calls, on average, is specifically for help at a fire.

The Random Acts of Kindness organization was developed to help firefighters realize a career with many positive reflections. By implementing positive memories into their jobs, firefighters will be more apt to continue their community service long after their career has been completed.

What We Do

The Thomasville Firefighter's Random Acts of Kindness has completed several local projects to assist the community. The Random Acts of Kindness supplies the necessary supplies and toys for all projects.

We have:

• Built ramp for local community in need for wheelchair access
• Provided Christmas presents for local children 
• Purchased "Full Armor of God" coins for all firefighters
